The smallest CRT TV was produced by Sony in 1999 and it had a screen size of just 2 inches. It was called the Sony Watchman FD-10A and was designed as a portable TV that could fit in a pocket. It ran on two AA batteries and had a resolution of 120 x 80 pixels. The sound was provided by a monaural speaker. Despite its small size and low quality output, it was popular among travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Sony Watchman FD-10A was discontinued in 2000 but remained a popular novelty item for collectors and enthusiasts.
